초록(국문)
우표 접기 문제는 자개 우표의 열이 있을 때，이를 접는 경우의 수에 대한문제이다. 우표 접기의 경우의 수와 관련해 기존 연구는 순열의
성질을 이용하거나 프로그래밍을 통해 전체 경우의 수를 구하는 방법을 모색 했지만 우리는 이와 다른 관점인 산 접기와 골짜기 접기라는
관점에서 탐구했다. 우리는 수학적 탐구를 통해 임의의 산-골짜기 수열에 의해 우표 접기가 이루어질 때 생기는 기본적인 성질과 특수한
형태의 산-골짜기 수열에 대해 가능한 우표 접기의 경우의 수를 증명하였다. 또한 프로그래밍을 통한 탐구를 통해 임의의 산-골짜기 접기
에 대한 우표 접기의 경우의 수를 계산하는 프로그램을 제작하였고 이 프로그램을 활용해 우표 접기 문제의 통계적인 성질을 탐구했다. -
초록(영문)
A Stamp folding problem is determining how many ways a strip of n stamps, separated by creases, can be folded
along those crease so that stamps are piled one on the top of the other. Previous researches used permutation and found
number of difFerent ways to fold a strip of /t stamps by programming. But our research used Mountain-Valley folding.
We mathematically examined the basic properties shown if a strip of a stamps is folded by Mountain-Valley sequence
and proved the number of cases to fold a strip of n stamps possible with a given Mountain-Valley sequence. We made a
program which calculates these numbers and researched statistical properties of stamp folding problem using this program.
