Since the data of dinosaur footprints are often not in its normal condition due to various factors, such as natural factors like corrosion and weathering and factors made by the mankind like lack of management, etc., the data tends to be difficult to analyze, also easy to lose its reliability. Therefore, in this paper, a walking model of a pedestrian subject according to the walking method is produced, and data is collected and compared to check whether the reality and conclusion gained as a result of this research fit well. Using a four-legged walking robot, the footprints left by the robot on the sand were analyzed to explore the characteristics of footprints left by the pedestrian subject, generalized by a mathematical formula, and then used to analyze footprints in Maehocheon, Daegu. As a result, it was found that the faster the walking subject proceed in the box full of sand, the shallower the depth of the footprint and the smaller the slope of both ends of footprints, the heavier
